We Are A Fun and Friendly League
The goal and purpose of the Savannah Adult Recreation Club (SARC) is to provide a fun and friendly competition in adult recreational sports. Each player should treat their fellow athletes, referees, spectators, and other staff with respect and courtesy at all times. Any profane or malicious comments directed at any of the aforementioned people will not be tolerated. Poor sportsmanship is considered the following: arguing with referees, yelling at opposing players, and using profane remarks or gestures. These are just a few. Failure to do so will result in an ejection from the game, suspension or even a ban from the league.
Participation & Guest Players
In order to participate in the league, each player must be registered online and sign the team waivers. Captains must verify that all teammates are at least 18 years old and have all players sign, and turn in the first night of play. Players not present the first week of play will still be required to sign a waiver with our staff before participating. A SARC staff member will keep your team waiver at the field, or a new one can be established. Players who sign up as individuals, sign the waiver upon arrival. Names of individuals can be added to the original roster, prior to the new team member playing at any point, but a player must participate in at least one regular season game to be eligible to participate in the playoffs.
Generally, guest players are allowed to sub-in when teams are short. Guests must sign the team waivers and pay the $20 guest fee before playing. During playoffs, guests may be allowed in certain conditions, but guest players may not come from a member of another team or higher division from the same league.
SARC will provide uniforms for all Free Agent teams and Draft Leagues. Team uniforms are not mandatory, however, creativity and team uniforms are encouraged. If you'd like to order shirts/uniforms for your team, we recommend using Specialty Sports in Savannah.
